After a careful evaluation of the ripeness and health status of the grapes, we proceed with the manual harvesting of the grapes, which are immediately transported to the cellar for pressing and control of the fermentation temperatures. This wine comes from two vines, the manual harvest takes place at the beginning of October. After the separate vinification of the two vines, the Blend is made according to the power and color of the Montepulciano and the elegance of the Aglianico tannins. The blend thus composed remains for three years in 25 hectoliter wooden barrels. It then refines in steel until bottled.
Color: deep and intense red, tending towards shiny garnet with aging. Perfume: Vinous, ethereal, with notes of vanilla and spicy on the finish.
Taste: Slightly tannic, enveloping, full and tasty. Alcohol: 14% vol.
Recommended with grilled meats, roast lamb, jugged hare and very mature provolone. Also pleasant on its own.
