What You Should Know About This Wine
Helpful insights on serving, pairing, and what to expect from the bottle in your glass.
After a controlled fermentation in steel tanks that develops an initial 5-6% alcohol, the wine is fortified with ethyl alcohol to halt fermentation at around 16%. This technique preserves the natural sugars and aromas, creating a rich, sweet nectar that then matures for at least three months in barrels and one month in bottles before release.
You can expect a full-bodied and sweet wine with a striking golden yellow hue and copper highlights. The nose reveals harmonious aromas of yellow peaches, orange and tangerine peel, dried figs, and dates. On the palate, its wide texture delivers an inviting sweetness with aromatic complexity and a velvety finish.
This is an excellent companion to aniseed biscuits, traditional Sicilian pastries, rich chocolate desserts, jam tarts, and homemade fruit ice creams. It also complements hors d’oeuvres, delicately cooked fish, white meats, and soft cheeses, bringing balance and sweetness to these dishes.
