  • Dispatch has been arranged

We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders where necessary, including:

  • Pricing errors
  • Stock unavailability

If cancelled, we will provide a full refund or offer alternatives of equal value.

5. Pricing & VAT

All prices displayed on the Donzella Wines website are:

  • Correct at the time of publishing

If pricing errors occur, we reserve the right to cancel or amend the order before dispatch.

7. Product Descriptions & Vintage Variation

We work hard to ensure product descriptions, imagery, and details are accurate.
However:

Vintage changes may occur without notice due to supply rotation from small Italian producers.

If the vintage shown in the product photo differs from the dispatched vintage, this does not constitute grounds for return unless the wine is defective.

Minor label variations may occur depending on the winery.

8. Food Products

Where we sell edible food products, including preserved or pickled goods, these products are sold for consumption at the customer’s own discretion. All food items must be stored, prepared, and consumed in accordance with the guidance provided on the product packaging or product description. Customers are responsible for ensuring that food products are suitable for their intended use and consumption.

Allergen information will be clearly displayed on product pages and/or product labels where applicable. Customers are responsible for reviewing allergen information carefully before consuming any food product. We cannot accept liability for adverse reactions where allergen information has been provided and products have been consumed contrary to guidance.

Food products are supplied on the basis that natural variation may occur. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for issues arising from improper storage, preparation, handling, or consumption of food products once delivered.

Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights.

9. Accessories

Accessories sold by Donzella Wines include non-consumable items such as tools, packaging, gift items, or other related products that are not food or drink. Accessories are sold separately from wine and food products and are treated as a distinct product category.

Accessories may be eligible for return or refund in accordance with our Returns Policy, provided they are unused, in their original condition, and returned with all original packaging. Accessories that show signs of use, damage, or are returned incomplete may not be eligible for a refund.

Where accessories are supplied alongside wine or food products, the returnability of the accessory does not affect the non-returnable status of wine or food items. Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights.

10. Delivery Information

Delivery estimates are provided at checkout. Actual delivery times may vary depending on courier performance and external factors.

If your order arrives damaged or is undeliverable due to courier issues, please follow our Damage in Transit process outlined in our Returns & Refunds Policy.

11. Returns & Refunds

Returns are only accepted for faulty or defective bottles.
We do not accept returns based on taste preference or change of mind.

12. Stock Availability & Substitutions

If an ordered wine is out of stock, we may:

  • Offer a full refund
  • Recommend a similar wine
  • Offer a replacement of equal value (e.g., if your wine was £8.99, the replacement will be up to £8.99)

We will contact you before making any substitution.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by UK law:

  • Donzella Wines is not liable for indirect or consequential losses
  • Our total liability is limited to the value of the goods purchased
  • We are not responsible for courier delays, handling issues, or missed deliveries
  • We do not accept liability for improper storage of wine once delivered

This does not affect your statutory rights.

14. Website Content Accuracy

We strive for accuracy, but:

  • Typographical errors may occur
  • Product descriptions may vary slightly
  • Colours, labels, and packaging can differ depending on the supplier

We reserve the right to correct any errors without prior notice.
